Flash Websites Vs Google

Folks, we all are aware of the fact that search engines hate Flash objects or websites. But on year 2008, Google had tied a knot with Adobe to develop techniques to index flash and offer search rankings to flash based websites. But Unfortunately, seo still found very hard for flash to promote on search engines.

Some of the facts are as follows:-

  • Flash Websites have Web pages that are mostly distinguished by # urls, but Google doesnt consider # Flash pages as different urls.
  • Flash Sites are not mobile phone friendly as such it loses a great lump of mobile user traffic as well.
  • Website user has to wait although the flash will attract him when it will load completely but as such loading time is unavoidable.

We need to know the flash requirement in such context. Use Flash when you are a brand for eg:- Levis is an well known fashion brand and they are making levis.com as flash website, then direct user traffic are obvious.

Some guide lines for flash websites are:

  • A Flash Banner is the right choice while keeping the majority content in html.
  • Do not call text or image files externally in your flash rather embed it in swf file it self.
  • Go on Alternative option for  flash such as Wollzelle, a impressive java script code. Common just go through it.

Enough for now!! Keep in touch for future advancement here.
